Fashion is a small word, moda or mode are even smaller, but they all have a huge significance for virtually each and every inhabitants on planet earth. Globally, approximately 100 billion new clothing items are made each year, which is more or less the same quantity 92 million tonnes of textile waste discarded. Just think about that for a moment. It is the equivalent of purchasing 12 pieces of new clothing items for every man, woman, and child and virtually the same number of items thrown away.
